29 years old Tanzanian Hip Hop artist, Chid Benz on Wednesday admitted three charges against him in Kisutu Resident Magistrate Court in Dar es Salaam for being in possession of illegal drugs. Chidi Benz acknowledged that on the 24 of October 2014 at the International Airport of Mwalimu JuliusNyerere, he was arrested with Heroin hydrochloride 85 worth Sh38, 638, 1.72 grams of marijuana worth Tshs1720 and devices used to smoke or smell these drugs.
After admitting all three charges, the judge is set to make a ruling tomorrow February 23, 2015. Chidi Benz had initially denied all the charges.
